Comes with front cap and case. Item is untested or needs service. Sold as is.

Mamiya 35-II

Second version of Mamiya's popular 35mm rangefinders, released in 1955. Early versions had f3.5 lenses, and later had f2.8. Recognizable from the first model by its slightly round finder windows.

  • Lens: Setagaya Kôki 4.5cm f3.5 or Mamiya-Sekor 45mm f2.8
  • Shutter: Seikosha-MX, 1s - 1/500th, plus B
  • Unclicked aperture.
  • Minimum focus distance: 1m
  • ISO Range: Reminder only, 25 - 200.
  • Finder: Coupled rangefinder with life-size, reverse-contrast field. Green field with circular yellow focusing patch.
  • Light Seals

Light seals, are thin strips of black foam that keep unwanted light from leaking into your camera body. Since they degrade with time, we replace them on every camera that needs it. This keeps your images free of light leaks.

  • Automatic Exposure / Metering

The amount of automatic features in a camera will determine the path of machine testing we must perform. These tests can check light meters and automatic features through a range of exposure values. Calibrated lenses and calibrated light boxes also assist in this process.

  • Shutter Speeds

We use period-appropriate, professional-grade testing equipment as necessary to accurately assess shutter performance. These machines tell us how long a shutter stays open and whether or not the shutter curtains are moving correctly. We have multiple machines that allow us to test nearly every camera type available.

  • Infinity Focusing & Rangefinder Alignment

Our collimator is used to simulate infinity focus for the purpose of ensuring lens alignment & focus at any distance. We also use a special high-contrast target board to ensure that rangefinders are properly aligned both vertically & horizontally.
